Thank you for taking the time to view this page! We are Reinder & Roana and in April 2020 we launched our own bag brand, berg & maan. It has been a fantastic and, above all, very enriching adventure so far!
Ever since the beginning of berg & maan, we had one important goal: how do we make our backpacks as happy as possible so that you can have a long and joyful life together?
Enjoy and appreciate the little things in life is the most important life lesson we teach all our bags. Additionally, we make sure that they’ll never lose sight of their life mission: to carry your belongings with a lot of love and without complaints. 🙂
Based on feedback from users over the past three years, we have optimized and made our design more sustainable with great care and attention. We chose thicker canvas, switched to sustainable cotton, improved the stitching and replaced the type of strap.
We genuinely hope that you will have many beautiful, happy adventures with your new bag!

Rules for a happy (bag) life
What can you do to keep your happy bag as happy as possible? Here are the key points:
Be kind
To yourself. To others. To your bag.
Our bags are trained to carry your belongings, and they love doing it, but try not to stuff them too full (all the time). This also applies to the front pocket. 🙂
Zippers are always a vulnerable part, so handle them with care!
Take care
Clean your bag with lukewarm water and mild soap. After washing, it’s good to spray it with a water-repellent spray (to maintain water resistance).
You can try to gently remove tough stains with Biotex or natural ox gall soap.
Live now
This secretly has nothing to do with your bag, but everything to do with life. Choose a life that makes you happy every day. And do it now. ‘Later’ doesn’t exist. ‘Now’ does. 🙂
